Thursday - 6:00 - 7:00pm We present traditional meditation techniques of sitting and walking meditation with clear intention. All levels of experience are welcome at the in person meeting. Please enter the meditation space quietly to help create a peaceful environment. There will be times for interaction as indicated by the meditation leader. RBC Yoga Saturday! 10 - 11am Live in person class only. An open yoga class for all levels, filled with vibrant energy and wise thoughts. Enter through the Taylor St. Door. Beginning meditation Class Semi-weekly - Every "Service Sunday" 9am before the service - Meditation class lead by a kind and experienced leader will guide 3 short sittings and have time for questions and discussion. Those interested in meditation are welcome. We present traditional meditation techniques of sitting meditation with clear intention. We teach and practice meditation as a healthful centering activity. We consider sitting meditation spiritually helpful, but not a process of “perfecting the individual”. Enabling women to talk about their lives and the challenges we face around relationships, work, children, our sense of purpose, direction and fulfillment. While we come together as RBC Sangha members, the group is not overtly focused on Buddhist questions and responses, instead it is intended as a mutually supportive gathering under the auspices of RBC Sangha. Enabling men to talk about their lives and the challenges we face around relationships, work, family, our sense of purpose, direction and fulfillment. Introduction to Shin Buddhism Fall 2023 Class Schedule October 5th, 12th, 19th 3 Saturdays from 10:00am - 12:00 noon.
