Buddhist Service Alliance

BSA mobilizes individuals for service and action to foster compassion in our community.   We welcome all Buddhists and friends in our area to participate in service and fellowship.

NEXT ACTIVITY:

BSA will meet at RBC Hiroma Hall Saturday, June 22, at 3pm to assemble peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, hard boiled eggs, and other items to take to the Record St. food line.  We will leave RBC at 4:30pm and travel by caravan to the RISE event at the Community Assistance Center (CAC) at 335 Record St. and serve food to our neighbors from 5 to 6:00pm. Whether you can donate your time or items on the shopping list below, your help is most appreciated.

    Event Shopping List:
    • Peanut butter
     Jelly
    • Eggs
    • Sandwich bags

You can help making sandwiches  or serving when we get to the CAC or both.

RISE is a nonprofit organization which schedules other nonprofit groups and volunteers to come together and help feed their neighbors in need.  Approximately 250 men, women, and children arrive at the food line every week.
